Meet Rebecca Finch
VA Accredited Claims Agent. Veteran advocate. Military spouse.
I founded Rapha Veterans Advocacy to provide veterans with something that can be difficult to find in the VA claims process: knowledgeable representation combined with genuinely personal advocacy.
As a VA-accredited claims agent, I represent veterans through disability claims and appeals, helping them understand the evidence, the strategy, and the decisions that can affect their benefits.
My approach is deliberately personal. I maintain a limited caseload so I can know the veterans I represent, understand their individual circumstances, and remain directly involved throughout the process.
MORE THAN A PROFESSIONAL CONNECTION
Military service has long been part of my life beyond my work.
As the spouse of a Marine Corps aviator, I understand that military service affects more than the individual wearing the uniform. It shapes families, careers, relationships, moves, deployments, uncertainty, sacrifice, and life after service.
That perspective does not replace the legal and evidentiary work required in a VA claim—but it does shape the way I listen to veterans and the respect I bring to their stories.
EXPERIENCE THAT SHAPES MY ADVOCACY
Before becoming a VA-accredited claims agent, I worked in behavioral health for the Marine Corps. That experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the relationship between medical evidence, functional impairment, and the lived experience behind a diagnosis.
Today, I bring that perspective to the claims process by looking beyond individual documents and considering how the evidence fits together as a whole.
Every veteran’s case is different. My role is to identify what matters, recognize what may be missing, and help develop a clear strategy based on the veteran’s circumstances and the applicable VA rules.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME
STRATEGIC CLAIM DEVELOPMENT
I review claims with an eye toward the evidence, applicable VA law, potential theories of entitlement, and the strongest path forward. The goal is not simply to submit paperwork, but to build a claim that clearly tells the veteran’s story and supports the benefit being sought.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
Veterans deserve to understand what is happening with their claim and why. I believe in explaining the process, discussing strategy, and helping clients make informed decisions about their case.
PERSONAL REPRESENTATION
When you work with Rapha Veterans Advocacy, you work directly with me. There is no call center, rotating case manager, or separate intake team handling your claim.
WHY I STARTED RAPHA VETERANS ADVOCACY
“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed…” — Isaiah 1:17
Rapha Veterans Advocacy was founded on a simple belief: veterans deserve knowledgeable representation, honest guidance, and an advocate willing to stand beside them throughout the VA claims process.
The name Rapha comes from Jehovah Rapha — “The Lord Who Heals.”
I cannot heal the wounds of military service. What I can do is help veterans pursue the benefits they have earned through service and sacrifice, and provide thoughtful advocacy throughout that process.
For me, this work is about more than forms, ratings, and evidence. Every claim represents a person, a family, a history of service, and a future that may be meaningfully affected by the outcome.
My mission is to provide veterans with personal advocacy, clear communication, and strategic representation through every stage of the VA claims process.
If you’re looking for direct, accredited representation and a thoughtful strategy for your VA claim or appeal, I’d be glad to learn more about your situation.
